Flowers produce seeds. If you're unable to harvest the plant, you might try that instead.

Yeah, that would be my next step. I'm going to have to figure out how to grow plants either way. At least with a bag of seeds, I could keep trying.

Lots of sun, lots of water. That's as far as my knowledge goes, unfortunately. Growing things isn't my strong suit.

Can't say I even know that much. Not a lot of growing crops down where I'm from, not unless you count mushrooms.
